This week no day passed without having to carry something up to the palace. If someone didn`t wake up from the morning tea, coffee or ice-cold spring-water shower, he surely did from carrying the huge beams, or smaller talboo (willow sticks used for slab construction) up to the palace as a morning half-an-hour exercise. The puma didn`t come up on its own either, as it is the ladakhi name of the straw used in the clay mixture of the flat roof. Don`t hesitate coming though, no more heavy transportation necessary this season. >>>
