Born in Oradea (Nagyvárad), I had a true daydreamer`s childhood in the wonderland of Transylvania. We moved to Budapest for my studies, first at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, then I graduated as an architect too, at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I was sure, economics would never be creative enough for me. I ended up traveling extensively after high school, which influenced my orientation big time.
Since 2004 I have been doing my phd research at Waseda University in Tokyo about the historical site of Angkor, Cambodia. I have organized a Japanese-Hungarian joint excavation on a 6th century site in Cambodia, with great success.
I initiated the Csoma`s Room restoration project when I visited the area in 2007, and realized the immense power of this building. My attitude towards the project is basically solid. I have tried to collect those people around me, who also have high resistance to severe financial and physical conditions that we could predict. I am looking forward to the successful ending of the working season.
